Proposal for a cabin in the woods. The split level design takes advantage of the sloping site to provide the main living spaces at entrance level with views out over lower level boundary conditions through to mature woodland beyond. A simple palate of materials of timber cladding and zinc roofing will assist with harmonising the building with the natural landscape whilst the use of brickwork to the lower storey will visually anchor the building into the site.
